On February 26th, our beautiful little girl was baptized at our church. Thankfully, she didn't cry or fuss during what is normally her nap time. We were privileged to be able to share in the moment with not only our parents and siblings, but also Kaylin's birth family. The video below was filmed by Kaylin's birth uncle. (Thanks TJ!)
"Seewhat kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are."
Below is a beautiful poem written by Kaylin's birth grandmother.
Precious Little Kaylin Precious little Kaylin, a gift from God above An angel sent from heaven, uniting families in their love Our Father of the universe, ordained you long ago He gave you exceptional parents, to guide you as you grow Your daddy shows a wealth of strength and a boldness of his own Your mommy shines with love and care -- characteristics that are grown You have a special birth mom, who loves you with her life She's bright and walks with confidence, finding blessings from her strife No doubt you'll be a blend of these, as well as so much more I pray you heed their teachings of what life will have in store Your story may be different from others that you know A testimony filled with love, that you alone will show I pray that as your life unfolds, that God will be your core And you will never have a doubt, how much you are adored The Lord will guide you every day, with His mercy, grace, and love And you our precious Kaylin, have already glorified Him above
Well, Kaylin is now approaching 4 months old and time is really starting to fly by. She's now a good 13 lbs. and is routinely sleeping through the night. Most times, we have to wake her up in the morning. Yes, I'm bragging. It's unbelievable just how relational this girl is. She'll make eye contact with you when you enter the room and smiles and giggles non stop! Don't believe me? Check this out...
